TEILO HERD MAJOR REDUCTION SALE OF WHITE PARK


Held at Llandeilo Mart, Ffairfach. Llandeilo on 24th September 2011

In conjunction with Annual Sale of Rare and Traditional Sale of Farm Livestock and Poultry.

Smoile Norman storms to £3100 at the reduction sale held on Saturday for Messrs Hilton & Harrison at the reduction of their Teilo Herd of White Park Cattle. The 8 year stock bull by Smoile Ivan and out of Smoile Jemma met spirited bidding at the ringside and a phone bid which was the successful purchaser, Messrs Milne & Hargreaves from Hertforshire. Cows and calves sold to £1900 for the smart outfit Teilo Gwyneth a heifer with impressive Dynevor bloodlines and bull calf at foot by Smoile Norman, purchaser was Myddelton Estates. Teilo Mwynwen another strong cow with bull calf at foot by Smoile Norman made £1700 to Myddelton Estates. Smoile Nola a big 8 year old cow with heifer calf at foot by Smoile Norman made £1350 to Morgan from Cardiff. Yearling heifers sold to £600 for Teilo Heledd by Smoile Norman and out of Dynevor Crystal 16, buyer Myddelton Estates.
